Ian and Lesley welcome you to Inverour - our pretty 19th century bed and breakfast home formed from the original village Post Office and schoolmaster’s house. Situated within the village of Spean Bridge, only 9 miles from Fort William and with stunning views of Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor and the Grey corries.

Stay one night or a few nights , why spend time unpacking and packing suitcases and the car, when  Inverour guesthouse makes an ideal base for touring the West Highlands, we are in driving distance of Skye, Mallaig, Aviemore, Ardnamurchan, just to mention a few.

 We've completely refurbished Inverour for the continuing comfort of you - our guests.

The village has a Tourist Information office, Woollen Mill, Whisky Shop, General Store and several award winning Restaurants close by.

The area is a paradise for outdoor pursuits and we welcome all types of enthusiasts. Golf, pony trekking, fishing can all be arranged in the area. Glen Roy nature reserve, with an abundance of wild life, from butterfies, to eagles, hedgehogs, to pine martins and of course  its famous parallel roads, a geological wonderland. It is recognised as one of  4 Geoparks all of which are a 40  to 60 minute drive from us.

We have a heated drying room for wet clothes, a garage for safe storage of bikes, cycles,canoes etc, and ample private parking.

For those who just want to get away from it all, there are unlimited places to explore whether on foot,  bike or in the car. Peace and tranquility, are just a stones throw away, on your return you can relax in our comfortable lounge and conservatory. Bring yourself back a Wee Dram, from the numerous Distilleries, although Ben Nevis Distillery is just up the road.

Most of our 8 bedrooms are en-suite and all are equipped with colour TV’s, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and radio alarms. Hearty breakfasts are served in the attractive dining room – choose from traditional Scottish, continental or vegetarian.

Look out for our special offers, early and late season, where you can treat yourselves, and enjoy the wonderful traffic free roads, astonishing Autumn and Spring landscapes, if your lucky snow capped mountain ranges to take your breathe away.
